XUV 700 Review | Mahindra XUV700 Review - autoX

The Mahindra XUV700 is the latest SUV from the Mahindra stables. Thanks to all its premiere features and performance, the XUV700 is the new flagship by Mahindra, taking the mantle from the older XUV500. Sporting a new "Twin Peaks" logo on the front grille rather than the classic Mahindra logo, a feature that will be specific to Mahindra SUVs, the XUV700 is Mahindra's new model for 2021. Mahindra XUV700 Exterior & Interior Features

The Mahindra XUV700 exterior features an all-new design that improves upon the feedback from the XUV500. It has a cleaner design paired with aggressive body lines. The XUV700's dimensions include a larger wheelbase (increased by 50mm) at 2750mm and lower ground clearance by 30mm, at 200mm. The overall dimensions of the XUV700 are 4695mm in length, 1890mm in width and 1755mm in height. Lower-end variants feature 17-inch wheels with higher-end variants featuring both 17 and 18-inch diamond-cut alloys.

On the inside, the new XUV gets leatherette seat upholstery, leather-wrapped steering and gear lever, all of which enhance the cabin feel. The dashboard features a 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system that integrates Mahindra's new AdrenoX system.

Engine Specifications and Performance

Mahindra's new line-up of engines features the latest 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and the mStallion 2.0 turbo-petrol. The XUV700's diesel variant features a 155PS power delivery for the diesel base series which goes up to185PS in higher variants. The top-end XUV700 petrol variants put down a whopping 198PS of power. Mahindra has claimed a mileage of 12kmpl for the 2021 XUV700.

Features

Expect the top-of-the-line AX7 trim to come loaded with a myriad of safety features such as an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), drowsiness alert, side airbags and more. Other features include dual-zone climate control, 6-way power-adjustable seat with memory, a 360-degree camera, radar assisted ride alerts.

Price & Variants
