The Hyundai Venue is a sub-four-meter crossover SUV that takes on the likes of the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Renault Kiger, among others. The ongoing facelift iteration of 2022 replaced the pre-facelift this year in June 2022. Since it is a facelift, the Korean carmaker has made a few cosmetic changes. The main update is the front fascia of the Hyundai Venue, as it gets a new parametric front grille like other Hyundai cars in India, especially the Hyundai Tucson. This new grille consists of a dual-tone of chrome and black that gives a premium look to the vehicle. Another main highlight is the revamped continuous LED taillight that exudes a broader look from this vehicle.
So, if you buy the top-of-the-line Hyundai Venue, then below are
a few things about the vehicle:
Venue Powertrains -
Hyundai India offers three engines on the Hyundai Venue. For
starters, there is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of
producing 81bhp and 114Nm of torque, followed by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol that
can generate 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. The last option is the 1.5-litre
diesel engine that is good for churning out 98bhp and 240Nm of torque. There is
a five-and six-speed manual transmission. Other transmission options include a
six-speed iMT and a seven-speed DCT. Keeping the Hyundai Venue price in mind, this car
can be considered one of the most powerful vehicles in its class.
As far as fuel
efficiency is concerned, the Hyundai Venue's mileage ranges between 17.5kmpl
and 23.4kmpl. Please note that these are ARAI-claimed figures and can vary from
an individual's driving style and local traffic conditions.
Hyundai Venue Features -
As you all must be aware, Hyundai cars have a long list of
features, be it entertainment, comfort, convenience, or safety. However, the
build quality of their vehicles is average despite having loaded with safety
features.
At the Venue price, especially the top-most variant, the SX
Opt Turbo DCT DT, you get an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto HVAC and lights, a cooled glove box, a
single-pane sunroof, to name a few. On the safety front, the Hyundai Venue gets
six airbags, hill-hold assist, ABS plus EBD, ESC, traction control, a rearview camera with guidelines and sensors, etc.
However, speaking of
safety, the 2022 Hyundai Venue's safety rating is at 4-stars, awarded by Global
NCAP.
Venue Prices
